Petrobras 23
The Petrobras XXIII (ex. Vinni) is a GVA 4000 based on the same hull as the GVA 4000 drilling unit Treasure Saga. The unit was built and delivered by Götaverken Arendal in 1985.
Vinni was converted to a dynamic positioned deep water drilling unit in Holland, 1998, for Petrobras.
The DP 2 system includes eight diesel engines and eight 2.4 MW azimuthing thrusters. The unit is upgraded to drill in 1.900 m water depth.
